We are no longer on the brink of a new paradigm, we are now in it.
Reality has shifted in subtle and powerful ways in recent years, and energetic support is all around for greater consciousness, deeper compassion, and new solutions to old problems.
That doesn?t mean things automatically get better. In fact, the new paradigm is actually ?optional? in that it requires conscious choice to access.
In other words, you won’t get to a higher floor unless you push the button on the elevator.
Astrology is one of the best-kept secrets of the past 100 years. It hasn?t been kept secret in the sense that we haven?t had access to it, but awareness of its potential has been suppressed by cultural views that dismiss it as superstition.
And with good reason. Astrology is complicated. It is as complicated as life, reality, experience, motivations, purpose, etc.
Of course, any discipline so inclusive as to be able to describe all of those things would have to be complex. Archetypal astrology is a language of symbols that describes human experience. By nature, it can be explored and studied but can never fully be understood by the human mind.
As a result, many efforts to utilize astrology in practice have resulted in attempts to simplify its messages by using predictive or deterministic approaches. These applications are very limited. Intelligent people can quickly see there is a disconnect in logic and because the predictions are specific, they are also inaccurate.
The upshot is there is a cultural bias that astrology is either meaningless ?entertainment? or completely disempowering because we are either afraid of or hoping to be wowed by what is coming without any leverage to do anything about it. I see this cultural bias when clients come to me with questions like, ?is love in my future?? or ?how long with this health condition last??
As an Evolutionary Astrologer who works with planetary energies from the perspective of archetypal symbolism, I am not able to answer those questions. What I can do is tell people what I see is the underlying evolutionary impulse behind the situation and how they can approach it from a place of personal empowerment.
In other words, I help them find the elevator and push the button themselves, which is ultimately the only way anything will change.
And from this perspective, from whence I view the symbolic messages as something I am humbly witness to rather than something I can show off with, the gates are open to new awareness that validates my clients? inner experience. What I notice often agrees with what they have always felt, but have never been able to put into words.
Having this truth reflected to them in the translation of a multidimensional language of dynamic cycles not only helps them find their own path to the elevator/choice that will carry them to higher consciousness, but also provides the clarity and self-acceptance they need to think and act in alignment with what will bring them the greatest possible joy and fulfillment.
